Box Tops for Education
Box Tops is a program that allows consumers to clip small coupons off of hundreds of food products and donate them to local schools. The schools are then able to redeem them for 10 cents apiece (products include cereals, flour, Hamburger Helper, snack foods, etc.)
Box Tops further contribute to schools through online purchases and a visa program. Each school can earn up to $60,000 per year; $20,000 for each of the three programs.
Let's pull together; let's clip, shop, and support our local schools. As a community we can make a difference.
The Box Tops program issues checks twice a year - once in the fall and once in the spring. The fall deadline is October 31, we ask that you send your boxtops to school for Sarah to collect. There will be collection boxes and the students can give them to their teachers. We plan to have collection boxes at all band and orchestra performances throughout the year.
You can help by trimming the Box Tops as all must be trimed and counted. Please make sure it still has a valid date on the coupon you cut out. This will help out our efforts tremendously!
