Meeting Minutes December 19, 2016

MEMBERS IN ATTENDANCE: Vicky Schilling - Vice President Penny Boedeker - Secretary Cindy Kirbach - Treasurer Paula Fritz - Hospitality Ed Gray - Financial Rose Lammers - Craft Fair Tom Pullen - ABOB.net TEACHERS IN ATTENDANCE: Laura Plummer Alyssa Overmann Vice President Schilling called the meeting to order at 6:54 pm. Minutes of the November meeting were reviewed. Finding no additions or corrections Paula Fritz made the motion to accept, and Rose Lammers seconded, motion carried. Treasurer, Cindy Kirbach, presented the treasurers report. Tom Pullen made motion to accept the report as written, Laura Plummer seconded, motion carried.

TEACHERS REPORTS:

Alyssa Overmann - High School Band

• Middle school and High school band concert went very well

• Pep Band and Winter Guard has started.

Laura Plummer - High School Orchestra

• Orchestra Concert went very well

• Quartet and Chamber have been out performing a lot lately.

Middle School Orchestra

• Orchestra concert last Thursday went well.

COMMITTEE REPORTS:

Hospitality: Paula Fritz

• Nothing to report

Communications: 

• Nothing to report

Technology: Tom Pullen

• Nothing to report

Ways & Means: 

• Nothing to report

Trip Fundraisers:

• Calendar sales have ended

• Pancake Dinner went well

Dinner Auction - Ed Gray

• Had first meeting

• Theme will be Music City

• Next meeting January 4, 7pm

Trivia Night - Laura Plummer

• Earned $5714.62 from October Trivia Night

Craft Fair - Rose Lammers

• Discussing changes for next year.  Going to discuss other food choices.

• 120 booths already paid for next year.

Vendor Fair 

• March 25, 2017

OLD BUSINESS:

• Alyssa Plummer and Devon Long played National Anthem at Blake Snyder fundraiser at Sportsman's

NEW BUSINESS

• Going to try and get requests for the band to play at special events on the calendar ahead of time.  Snowball Express made a late request again this year and let them know we need advance notice to participate next year.
