ABOB MinutesAugust 24, 2020 Call to Order: 7:02pm

  1. Treasurer’s Report

    1. Move percussion payment out of surplus for March 2021

      1. $3491.62

      2. Motion to accept: Laura, Seconded by Jill

    2. Motion to accept budget: Laura, Seconded by Blake

  1. Teacher Reports

    1. Orchestra: AHS: Laura, it was day 1 of Zoom

    2. AHS Band

      1. 91 students in band 3

      2. M100--100-120 kids,

        1.  practices resume Tuesday the 25th

          1. Tuesday: winds, percussion, color guard

          2. Thursday: brass, percussion, color guard

        2. Instrument covers purchased by the district under Covid Cares Act

      3. SIUE Percussion Festival, August 29th

        1. Videos were taken on last day of band camp

        2. 15-20 minute clinic

        3. All held on Zoom

    3. Elementary

      1. Meeting Wednesday with administration to discuss plans

      2. Music for All has a program

      3. Maybe do the Rally as a Zoom call

    4. AMS

      1. Meet the teacher went well

      2. Day one on Zoom was rough, but okay

      1. Pampered Chef

        1. Approved by the board

        2. Will be held September 14-21

      2. Olga’s: $501

      3. Shivers: donated $180 since we can’t hold our normal event

        2. Will use sign-up genius for picking up items

      2. Contacting crafters for refunds or holding for 2021

      1. Still discussing how to hold it

      2. Can get leveled sponsors (Notes)

      3. Maybe auction gift certificates: certain amount of time given to bid

        1. Give $50, get a $20 gift card

    7. Vendor Fair

      1. Still just in holding pattern for 2021
